I own one and i think your comment " ...take away trebly ore ice picky from your pickup" is realy true. It makes the six strings sound equal to each other imo. For more creamy and sustain with singlecoils i raise the Norm or Drive level.

Great demo-classy playing and sweet tones! Would have been helpful to hear the bypassed tone…was the Bassman overdriving at all, or pretty clean? I have this pedal, and it’s really impressive. I’ve owned original Klons, KTR, and several other clones.

Picked up a cheap Jackson 7/8 a couple of years ago for $150 during the pandemic for noodling around. It’s a humbucker and responds well to crazy chorus and delay. I’m pretty surprised this thing has been a joy above my more expensive strats and acoustics.

I have the white one. The only thing that bothers me is, when you play with overdrive sounds the wah makes like a cutting sound at exact position, when you’re doing faster wah-wah movings. On the clean sound it’s ok, but with overdrive it’s not so ok.

Amazing job, Simon. Sounds great. Do you notice any sonic difference between the Line output on the RL and the RL IR? They got different impedances. RL is 10k ohms and RL IR is 600ohms. Kind regards.

A bit late! TY For this post! I am curious ... you mention AC/DC but if you had to consider the following artists, wondering what pedals match them. Which pedal better approximates the "brown sound" from Van Halen's early records? And of the two, which pedal better approximates classic Hendrix sound? I "think" it'd be the Lo-Gain version but wondering if I'm matching them up correctly (or in the wrong ballpark).

Wonderful tone! Did you miked up your Bassman or did you use an Ox or Torpedo?

I'm currently debating the lo-gain vs a Jetter Helium. Already have a Pinnacle which is nice for high gain, but it's lower gain ranges are just too damned narrow to reliably stack as well as I'd like. The slightest nudge to gain or volume makes a mess.
